START (Short Term, Assessment, Response, Treatment) Team.
Team provides confidential mental health crisis intervention services for children and teens (ages 6 – 18). Services may include mental health and risk assessment, safSTART ety planning, short term individual or group therapy, resource and referral coordination, and family support. Formerly known as the Child and Youth Crisis Program. Youth, families and professionals can directly access our services by contacting the START Team at 1-844-START11 (1-844-782-7811).
Kids Help Phone or Live Chat
24/7 counselling help from trained professionals on the phone for youth up to age 20. Call 1-800-668-6868. Live chat on the computer is available during specific days/hours.
Trans Lifeline Trans Lifeline run a crisis line staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Trans Lifeline volunteers are ready to respond to whatever support needs members of the trans community might have. Call 1.877.330.6366.
